DIRECTOR

I work on my own projects and other peoples. I specialise in devised, collaborative and movement based processes and in developing new work for stage and increasingly merging with film.

For Flight, I am directing and writing things for TAMED, our new show which will (hopefully) premiere Spring 2022 and during our enforced 'down-time' developed TAMED virtual chorus a digital research project, to create a virtual chorus at distance. I'm researching and learning things for documentary film project DECOMMISSIONED. I am directing and developing FINDING MELANIA; a new solo show by Denise Stephenson which premiered at CPT in the Autumn and which will hopefully be on again Spring 2022. I also worked on the R&D film of this. Last summer I was engaged as Associated Puppet director for THE WALK with Good Chance.

I am currently researching alternative new writing practices with a focus on collaborative and devised processes, and chatting with some brilliant folks. Last year I received an EU Step Grant to research adaption of factual material for the theatre and in working across languages and borders.
